Seven Lakes of Tajikistan
Bring your passport. You cross into Tajikistan and back on the same day. Depending on your passport you may need a Tajik e-visa, and if you need a visa for Uzbekistan it must allow you to enter again. We check what applies to you when you book.
About this tour
The Seven Lakes — Haft Kul — lie one above the other in a narrow valley of the Fann Mountains, each a different shade of turquoise. The border is only about an hour from Samarkand, so the lakes make a full, unforgettable day trip. We drive you to the border and help you cross; on the Tajik side a car and driver take you through Penjikent and up the valley, from lake to lake.
Highlights
- Seven mountain lakes, each a different colour
- Mountain villages in the Fann Mountains
- Cars on both sides of the border and help with the crossing
- Back in Samarkand the same evening
