About this tour

The high-speed Afrosiyob train takes you from Tashkent to Samarkand in about two hours — enough time for a full day in the city of blue domes and an evening train back. A car meets you at the station, and a private guide in your language shows you Registan, Gur-e-Amir, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Siab Bazaar and Shah-i-Zinda.

  • The Afrosiyob high-speed train — about two hours each way

How it works

Good to know

How early should I book?
As early as you can. Afrosiyob tickets often sell out, especially in spring and autumn. Two weeks ahead is good; a month is better.
Can I upgrade to business class?
Yes. Business class costs a little more — tell us when you book and we’ll include it in the price.
Can I stay overnight instead?
Yes. Many guests turn this into two days with a night in Samarkand. We can help with the hotel and add a second day with your guide.
What do I need for the train?
Your passport — it is checked when you board. Arrive at the station 30–40 minutes before departure for the security check.
